Sweet Annie's of Maine

Our little but hard-working trusty backyard garden is a fresh source of pumpkin, mint, and rhubarb during the warmer months.

A flat of fresh wild Maine blueberries just hours after being raked is below.

Also shown below is the photo journey my lemons make, from our backyard lemon trees in Arizona to my home-brewed limoncello to your lemon drop, blueberry lemon, and lemon coconut cakes and cupcakes.

~ A note from Annie ~

If you are a first time visitor to my website, a very warm welcome to you! I don't advertise; over ninety percent of my business is thanks to wonderful referrals. Please let me know whom I may thank for your interest.

At Sweet Annie's of Maine, I design, bake and decorate made-to-order cakes  and cupcakes in my state-inspected and licensed home kitchen in the beautiful Maine town of Manchester. My vision for your special cupcakes or cake is one of paramount taste and beauty. Life is short, so your treats should taste incredible and look absolutely stunning. Whether you would like to place an order for the wedding cake of your dreams, a birthday cake, or a "just because I deserve it" (been there!) cake, I look forward to meeting you and helping your vision  become a delectable reality.

My niche is not only baking with the freshest local ingredients Maine has to offer, but in some cases, I grow the produce myself. During the colder months, I delve into stewed and canned rhubarb to spice up my strawberry cakes and pressed mint to zest up my peppermint hot chocolate and mint chocolate chip cupcakes, all sourced from our very own backyard garden. I also make my own limoncello, for my lemon cake, from lemons picked from my family's lemon trees in Arizona. All wild Maine blueberries are hand-raked by good friends in mid-coast Maine. When I run out of any of these ingredients, I don't run to the store to replace them; I simply wait until they become available to me seasonally through my garden, family, or friends. Things really do taste better that way. (I think you'll agree!)
