1. How do I place an order? 


You may email, call, text, or, if you are ordering through the Sweet Annie's Facebook page, you may post a comment or send a message. The minimum per flavor is typically six for regular and twenty-four for minis. You may contact me at any time to see what extras I have on hand should you be in search of an assortment. I almost always have extras of several different flavors. 


2. Why are the prices different on your Facebook page? 


I oftentimes sell my extras on Facebook as assortments at a discounted, promotional price. Please check my Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SweetAnniesofMaine) for weekly (and sometimes daily) promotions.


3. How do I care for my cupcakes?

I can only control the quality of my cupcakes up until the time they leave my kitchen. They are best enjoyed on the day they are picked up. That said, I realize that plans sometimes do not allow for that. They will stay fresh in your fridge for a couple of days as long as they are double wrapped in plastic, but depending on the flavor, they may dry out significantly due to the cold. If refrigerated, please let your cupcakes come back to room temperature while still wrapped. This will help seal the moisture in as well as allow for the buttercream frosting to return to a softer consistency. This is personal preference though; some may prefer a stiffer frosting. Every flavor is best stored in an individual manner, so please inquire as to how to keep them fresh if I fail to advise at pick-up. (For example, many chocolate based cupcakes can stay at room temperature for a couple days, whereas flavors like key lime pie and strawberry shortcake should not be left out for extended periods due to the cream cheese based fillings.) 





4. How do I pick my order up? 


If we have not already determined a pick-up date and time when your order was placed, I will contact you several days beforehand to set up a pick-up time. Because my business is a home-based business, please respect my open-by-appointment policy. 


5. How far in advance should I place my order?


Generally speaking, for orders of two dozen or less, one week's notice should suffice. That said, the holidays and the summer can be very busy and a little unpredictable so I would suggest booking well ahead of time to secure your spot. I ask that the booking of weddings and other large events takes place at least two months in advance, at a minimum.
